Running among many........



So the time came for me to run once again. This time it felt a little different as the reason why I was running was for a cause and for someone that is not longer with us physically.

Two weeks before the race I was given the ok by the knee surgeon to proceed in the quest of completing yet another race. With that in mind I was ready! I was ready to carry on what I started last April, I was ready to face the music "literally speaking"....

The day before the race was a bit unusual, I ate as if there was no tomorrow insight, I kept eating as for some reason it didn't bothered me at all. My running partner and I drove to Philly that morning to pick up our goodie bag and bib number, let me say this though; it was a sunny warm day in Philadelphia, sarrounded by many people visitors and residents alike.
After picking up our stuff we decided to come home as we both knew running along 12000 people was not going to be an easy task at all.
By 10 pm I went to bed, I felt I needed to rest as much as I could so the race will go without the pains and suffering as many runners begin to suffer due to lack of rest....
